Catalogue before curating
Photograph each scarf, label its box and record title, design information, dimensions, condition and purchase documents. Keep private values in a restricted collection file.
Choose a rotation idea
Color seasons can work, but artist, memory, travel or formal pattern may create a more personal wall. Leave room for one scarf to stay longer when it rewards repeated viewing.
Inspect before every display
Review the actual scarf and confirm compatibility with the current system. Do not assume that every Carré 90 shares identical construction or condition.
Return records with the scarf
