How Does ArtSoie Move From Wall to Wardrobe and Back?
Movement between display and wear succeeds when every transition has a calm, repeatable care sequence. A collector-led guide grounded in material, evidence and lived experience.
Begin with the wall state
Look at how the silk sits in Veatro and photograph the alignment. Prepare a clean surface before release. The collector should know where the work will rest before the first contact.
Release without pulling
Follow the demonstrated sequence and support the silk. Remove jewelry that can catch. If the work does not release as expected, stop and review the instructions rather than adding force.
Confirm that wear is permitted
The edition record should state whether wear belongs to this ArtSoie's intended use. Condition, hand-finishing or artist direction may create limits even when another edition can be worn.
Pause between body and wall
After wear, inspect for cosmetics, moisture, food, pulls and changed folds. Follow the care guidance before display. Returning the silk quickly is not worth trapping a problem against the support.
Record the return
Align the edition using its approved contact points and compare it with the earlier photograph. A short condition note turns the wall-to-wardrobe ritual into a repeatable collecting practice rather than a memory test.
