How Do You Choose Art for a Dressing Room?
Dressing-room art shares space with mirrors, fabric, close viewing and personal rituals of presentation. A collector-led guide grounded in material, evidence and lived experience.
Use the mirror as a second wall
Check how the artwork appears directly and in reflection. A composition may gain depth or become visually crowded once wardrobes and clothing enter the frame.
Separate art from preparation
Keep silk away from perfume, hairspray, cosmetics, steam and damp fabric. Convenience should not place an artwork in the spray zone.
Plan movement around the body
Open every door and drawer. Mark where elbows, hangers and jewelry travel. Releasable art needs a clean surface nearby.
Treat wear as an edition decision
If ArtSoie may be worn, follow its specific guidance and inspect it before returning to Veatro.
