Begin with the room, not the label
Map daylight, views, plants, circulation and existing materials. Art should add a distinct layer rather than repeat a nature theme mechanically.
Look for material connection
Earth pigment, silk, wood, found material and responsive surfaces can make natural processes tangible. Ask how the artist uses the material and what care it requires.
Movement can sharpen attention
Kinetic Silk may answer a small current or change in viewpoint. Place it away from forceful vents and direct sun. The work should register the room, not be stressed by it.
Avoid health promises
An artwork may support atmosphere, reflection or personal comfort. Do not claim medical or measurable wellbeing outcomes without proper evidence.
